Located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region of Poland, Huta Szkla Gospodarczego Irena SA was founded in 1924, originally as a producer of dishes and haberdashery glass, made of white or colorful material, cut liquor bottles, jars, glass for gas and kerosene lamps, perfume, cosmetic, pharmacy glass and technical accumulator glass. Today, the company is a producer of fancy crystal, drinking glasses and cups, now produced on a large scale, which began after the modernization of the plant in 1976. HSG Irena is one of the largest glass manufacturers in Poland and is the most experienced producer of crystal (cut-glass, lead crystals) and glasses made of soda glass, and crystal accessories, with the plant producing drinking glasses on a large scale.
